Energy Cleanses
Before intuitives can serve others, we must first take care of ourselves. Below are some basic but powerful practices for clearing yourself to prepare for energy work, or even just to clean off the 'gunk' after a busy day or conversation.
🌿 1. The Waterfall Cleanse
One of the most powerful ways to clear our energy is by imagining a waterfall of light washing over us, cleansing away any heaviness or stagnant energy we're holding.
🌀 How to do it:

Stand or sit comfortably with your feet planted on the floor. Close your eyes and take three deep breaths.

Visualize a beautiful waterfall of shimmering white or golden light pouring down from above. Feel it begin at the crown of your head, gently cascading down your body.

As the light flows over you, imagine it carrying away anything that doesn’t belong to you—stress, negative emotions, other people's energy. Watch it flow down into the earth, where it is absorbed and transmuted into neutral energy under Gaia's care.

Spend at least 2-3 minutes here, or longer if you feel you need it.

When you're done, imagine the waterfall slowing to a gentle drizzle and then fading into a glowing mist that surrounds you, leaving you refreshed, clear, and protected.
💫 Pro tip: Doing this in the shower makes it even more powerful. Let the physical water amplify the energetic cleanse.
🌿 2. The Energy Sweep - Kim's personal favorite for speed clearing!
This exercise is great for those moments when you feel overwhelmed or drained by being around too many people or in chaotic environments. It's a physical, hands-on technique that you can use anytime, anywhere.

🌀 How to do it:

Stand with your feet hip-width apart, grounding yourself by imagining roots growing from your feet deep into the earth.

Take both hands and bring them about 6 inches away from your body, starting at the top of your head. Slowly "sweep" your hands down your body as if you’re brushing off invisible dust or cobwebs from your aura.

As your hands pass each section of your body (head, shoulders, arms, torso, legs), imagine pulling away any stuck or foreign energy that doesn’t serve you. Shake your hands out to release the energy into the earth.

Repeat this motion a few times, especially around the areas where you feel tension—like your heart, solar plexus, or lower back.

Finish by crossing your arms over your chest in a self-hug, imagining your energy field sealed and protected with love.
